Founded in 2015, Ave Lucia & Scott Dava's Teacups began with a simple mission: to set a new standard for teacup puppy breeding. We noticed a lack of ethical, home-focused breeders specializing in the delicate needs of Maltese and Poodles.

The 9-Week Rule
While many breeders rehome at 6 or 8 weeks, we strictly wait until 9+ weeks. This ensures proper weaning, stable blood sugar levels, and better emotional maturity.
Holistic Health
Our puppies follow a strict veterinary schedule including deworming, vaccinations, and comprehensive physical exams. We provide a 1-year genetic health guarantee.
Home-Raised socialization
No cages. Our puppies are raised in the heart of our home. They are exposed to household noises, children, and other adult dogs to ensure a confident temperament.
Ethical Breeding Philosophy
We prioritize quality over quantity. We only produce a limited number of litters each year to ensure each mother and puppy receives our undivided attention and the highest level of veterinary care.
